ABOUT

Theian is a six-piece art rock band from Finland, crafting dark, atmospheric soundscapes shaped by Nordic melancholy. Their music blends intensity and fragility into cinematic, emotionally charged songs.

The name Theian originates from Theia, whose collision with Earth is thought to have formed the Moon. It is a story of transformation — how fragments can become form, how chaos can become beauty, how darkness can learn to reflect light.

The musicians behind Theian are no strangers to the stage. They are also known from the Finnish melancholic rock band Naryan, which has released four albums and toured both in Finland and internationally.

Theian was born out of a need to make music for those who have fallen — and found something beautiful on the way back up. Our songs grow from honest, sometimes painful stories that resonate deeply, offering listeners a sense of connection and understanding. Through vulnerability and shared emotion, Theian’s music brings comfort, strength, and the reminder that even in our hardest moments, there is meaning — and beauty — to be found.
